Artist Talk
During the artist talk, Jordan Martins will uncover Mike Toney’s journey as an artist and entrepreneur, how he creates original characters based on African lore, and how Toney leverages his artwork on Instagram (90K+ followers) to create opportunities in the illustration world. The conversation will uncover how Toney put his two books together and what he learned working alongside writer Martins as an editor of his first book project, Black Anime: Lost Children of The Diaspora.
There will also be a Fan Q+A portion and an opportunity for fans to purchase books and art signed by Mike Toney.
